Abhijit has done it again and his paper on the use of Pd(II) for Ferrier glycosylations has been accepted in Organic Letters

In this new report, Abhijit has shown that Pd(MeCN)₂Cl₂ enables the α-stereoselective catalytic synthesis of 2,3-unsaturated O-glycosides from O(3)-acylated glycals without the requirement for additives to pre-activate either donor or nucleophile. 

Well done Abhijit ... Palladium does rule when it comes to glycosylating glycals!
